If you are looking for the best way to travel from Bangkok International Airport - BKK to Hua Hin, the easiest way is either to take a taxi (car transfer) or take the direct bus.
How far is Bangkok Airport to Hua Hin?
The distance by road from BKK Airport to Hua Hin is 222 km.
There is a relatively new, first class bus service (24 seater) now in operation from BKK - Bangkok Airport to Hua Hin.
Buses leave BKK airport for Hua Hin at:
Bus departures and tickets sales are at Level 1, gate 8 at BKK Airport and the trip should take between three 1/2 and four hours, depending on the traffic.
The bus used to terminate at the new Hua Hin Bus Station, but from January 2017, these buses will terminate and depart from another new bus station, the Roong Reuang Coach Bus Terminal, near Hua Hin Airport (next to the post office).

If you want to travel in the opposite direction on the bus from Hua Hin to BKK Airport, buses depart at:
Buses terminate at the BKK Departure Terminal, Level 4.
If you want to travel from BKK to Cha Am by bus, you can also use these services as they stop just in front of the Bangkok Bank on the main Phetkasem Road, just past the intersection that leads down to the beach.
To take the bus from Cha Am to BKK, the pick up point is at the bus stop on the northbound side of the road, in front of the Government Savings Bank.
Departure times from Cha Am are around 20 to 30 minutes after the scheduled departure times from Hua Hin.
If you want to arrange your own private taxi from Suvannabhumi Airport to Hua Hin, you can either join the queue at the taxi rank at the airport or pre-book your own private transfers and have the car or minivan waiting for you at arrivals.
Prices for private car transfers start at around 2,000 THB upwards, depending on the luxuriousness of the car.
For more space you can also arrange for minivans seating up to nine people comfortably.

There are currently no scheduled flights between these two airports - you will have to charter a private plane if you want to fly.
If you are staying in the city for a while, you then have the choice of either:
Taking a train from Bangkok to Hua Hin Railway Station.
Or a minibus or regular bus from the Southern Bus Station.
