An alternative and much cheaper way to travel from Batang Melaka to Kuala Lumpur city centre by train is to first take one of the Shuttle trains from Batang Melaka to Tampin / Pulau Sebang.
From Tampin you can then connect to the KTM Komuter train network from Tampin to KL.
