Alternative ways to travel by train between KL and Gurun:
As there are only a few direct services to and from Gurun, another option is to use the nearby station of Sungai Petani, where all ETS Gold and Platinum services stop.
To travel from Gurun to Sungai Petani by train (or vice versa), you can take a short trip on the regular KTM Komuter Train services that operate in this part of the country.

These trains between Gurun and KL are the slightly slower ETS Gold Services and cost approximately:
Adult Fares: 64 MYR
Child Fares: 36 MYR
