The ETS Gurun to Ipoh train services are operated by KTM Berhad (Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad) and are the quickest and most direct way to travel to the capital of Perak state in Peninsular Malaysia.
Other more frequent trains to Ipoh railway station are available if you take a short KTM Komuter train ride to the nearby station of Sungai Petani.
From Sungai Petani, you can then connect to more trains travelling to Ipoh.
