Although this is only a short journey, our best advice to you would be to purchase your train tickets as far in advance as you can, as all these trains are long distance services and all the seats may well be sold out days or weeks in advance.
You may be lucky and get a seat if you just turn up at the station on the day, but with a little forward planning, you should guarantee your seat beforehand.
To book your seats in advance you can buy your tickets from any KTM ticket counter at any mainline station in Peninsular Malaysia.
Or you can easily book your tickets online for the same price >
