The ETS KL Sentral to Gemas train operated by KTM Berhad (Malaysia Railways) takes you to the end of the line for the newer Electric Train Services (the electrified line to JB Sentral in Johor Bahru is currently under construction).
From Gemas railway station, you can connect to Intercity trains to take you into Johor state and onto Singapore, or you can transfer to the East Coast Line (Jungle Railway) up to Kelantan in the northeast of Malaysia.

The fastest way to travel from KL to Gemas is on the new high-speed Electric Train Services (ETS), which take approximately two hours and 25 minutes to travel to Gemas.

How to Buy Tickets for the ETS KL Sentral to Gemas Train
Train tickets can be purchased in advance from any mainline ETS train station on the KTMB railway network in Malaysia.
If you turn up on the day of travel hoping to buy a ticket, there is a good chance you will not be able to get a seat.
If you are already in Kuala Lumpur, rather than travel all the way to KL Sentral Station, it is easier to buy your train tickets online.
