If you want to travel to Kuala Lumpur, you can take the ETS Sungai Siput to KL Sentral Railway Station train, then from here you can get to anywhere in the city easily using the KTM Komuter services, LRT or Monorail.
There are only a few services a day from this relatively small station, with only ETS Gold trains stopping here.
The faster ETS Platinum services do not stop here.
The duration of the train journey from Sungai Siput to Kuala Lumpur (KL Sentral) is a little under three hours.

If you would like to travel on any KTMB ETS train service in Malaysia, you need to reserve a seat.
No standing passengers are allowed, so there are a limited number of tickets for every train.
To make sure you can get a seat, you should always book your tickets as far in advance as you can as trains can often be full during busy times of the year, weekends, holidays and religious festivals.
To buy advance ETS train tickets you can:
1) Go to any ETS railway station and buy your tickets in person from the station ticket counter.
2) Save yourselves a trip to the station and book tickets online.
