The ETS Taiping to Gemas train service operated by Malaysia Railways (KTM Berhad) takes you to the end of the line for the Electrified Line on the West Coast route (the last section to JB Sentral in Johor Bahru is under construction).
From Gemas railway station you can connect to Intercity trains to Johor and Singapore or you can transfer onto the East Coast Line (Jungle Railway) up to the north-east of the country.

As KTM now uses a Flexi Fare system for ETS train bookings, the price you pay varies from day to day depending on if you are travelling during a "Peak" period of the year or day of the week and how far in advance you make your booking.

When travelling on an ETS train in Malaysia, all passengers get a reserved seat with their ticket and as seat numbers are limited, it is always best to book your tickets in advance.
