Taking the KL Sentral to Sentul Timur LRT train operated by Rapid KL is good option for travelling to this district in Kuala Lumpur as trains depart far more frequently compared to the KTM Komuter services that run to KTM Sentul station (located in east Sentul, 0.75 km away from the LRT station at Sentul Timur).

There are no direct LRT services to Sentul Timur but it is still a quick way to travel taking the following route:
1) Take the LRT train from KL Sentral to Masjid Jamek LRT station in the direction of Gombak on the Kelana Jaya LRT Line (5 minutes - 2nd stop).
2) Then take an LRT train from Masjid Jamek on either the Ampang Line or Sri Petaling Line to Sentul Timur LRT station (13 minutes - 6 stops) - Sentul Timur is the last stop on these LRT routes.

As LRT trains are so frequent during the day and early evening, you will not have to wait long connecting at Masjid Jamek and the duration of the whole journey to Sentul Timur from KL Sentral should take between 25 and 30 minutes.
