If you want to travel from KLCC to Chinatown, the KLCC to Pasar Seni LRT train is easily the quickest way to travel with frequent services on the Kelana Jaya Line.
The duration of the journey by LRT train to Pasar Seni from KLCC (Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre) is just 8 minutes.
From Pasar Seni LRT station you can easily walk into the heart of Chinatown (Petaling Street) in approximately 5 to 10 minutes.
You can also connect to the MRT Sungai Buloh to Kajang Line (SBK Line), or take the pedestrian bridge to connect to the old Kuala Lumpur railway station for KTM Komuter trains to Batu Caves and Tampin or long-distance ETS trains.

To get the cheaper cashless prices you will need to buy a prepaid RapidKL Touch N Go card.
These cards are available from the RapidKL customer services offices at LRT, MRT and Monorail stations.
If you plan on using RapidKL trains and RapidKL buses a lot during your stay in Kuala Lumpur, you may want to purchase one of these cards as they will save you money and hassle while travelling around the city and they often have some good deals available.

LRT trains are very frequent if you travel during the daytime with departures every 3 minutes during the morning and late afternoon rush hours, then between every 4 minutes to every 8 at other times of the day and early evening, then every 14 minutes in the late evenings.
At weekends and public holidays, LRT trains run to a slightly less frequent schedule but you still will never have to wait long for the next LRT service.
