The KTM Gua Musang station (stesen keretapi Gua Musang) is one of the main railway stations on the Malaysia East Coast Line (Jungle Line) located in the state of Kelantan.
Train services to Gua Musang are operated by Malaysia Railways - Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB) with both long-distance Intercity trains and local Shuttle trains serving this stop.

Gua Musang train services:
1) The most frequent train services serving Gua Musang are the cheap, local Shuttle services that run along the lines stopping at every station along the route.
2) The other services serving Gua Musang station is the long-distance sleeper train that runs between Tumpat in the northeast of Peninsular Malaysia to JB Sentral station in Johor Bahru in the far south.
This Intercity (Antarabandar) train is known as the Ekspres Rakyat Timuran (Eastern People's Express) and is currently the only sleeper train service left on the KTM Berhad network.
This service only stops at the main stations along the East Coast route in the following order (from north to south):
Now all long-distance trains terminate at JB Sentral, if you want to continue your journey into Singapore by train you can connect to one of the regular Shuttle train services to Woodlands station just across the Causeway in Singapore.
To travel from Kuala Lumpur / KL Sentral to Gua Musang by train, you will have to take an ETS train from KL to Gemas, then connect to the Intercity sleeper service on the East Coast Line.

Booking advance tickets for the Intercity train is highly advisable as sleeping berths can sell out quickly during busy times of the year.

If you are just travelling short distances using the Shuttle train services, tickets are sold on the day of travel from the station ticket counter.
