MRT Pasar Seni Route / Line (Laluan) - Train Timetable

The MRT Pasar Seni station (SBK16) in Chinatown, is a RapidKL Mass Rapid Transit stop on the SBK Line that is fully integrated with the Pasar Seni LRT station, connected by a 65 metre "paid area" linkway.

This busy station is a popular destination and interchange station as you can:

1) Walk to Petaling Street in the heart of Chinatown in 5-10 minutes.

2) Change from the MRT SBK Line onto the Kelana Jaya LRT Line.

3) Take the new pedestrian bridge (opened in November 2019) from Pasar Seni station to the old KTM Kuala Lumpur railway station where you can connect to KTM Komuter trains on the Batu Caves - Tampin Line and Port Klang Line or long-distance ETS trains all the way up to the border with Thailand at Padang Besar.

4) The train station in Pasar Seni is also located next to the Jalan Sultan Mohamed bus hub where you can take a bus to Petaling Jaya, Shah Alam and Subang Jaya or hop on one of the free bus services operated by GOKL City Bus.

The MRT SBK Line (now called the Kajang MRT Line) appears as dark green (route number 9) on the KL Transit map.

Pasar Seni station can be found just above and to the right of KL Sentral.

MRT trains travelling in the direction of Kajang, stop at the following stations:

Kajang integrated station is the end of the line for MRT trains and located along the main West Coast Railway Line in Malaysia so you can take KTM Komuter and ETS trains from Kajang station.


Travelling in the direction of Sungai Buloh, MRT trains stop at the following stations:

Sungai Buloh intergrated MRT / KTM station is the other end of the line for MRT trains on this route and is located on the main West Coast Railway Line with KTM Komuter trains as far as Tanjung Malim and long-distance ETS trains to Ipoh and beyond.

MRT Pasar Seni Timetable / Operating Hours

MRT train services from Pasar Seni depart frequently from the first train at approximately 06:00 in the morning until late into the evening.

The last MRT train from Pasar Seni travelling to Kajang is at 00:05 from Monday to Saturday and at 23:36 on Sunday and public holidays.

The last MRT train from Pasar Seni travelling to Sungai Buloh is at 00:08 from Monday to Saturday and at 23:40 on Sunday and public holidays.

MRT trains depart from Pasar Seni station:

Every 4 minutes during peak hours.

Every 7 to 10 minutes during other times of the day and early evening.

Every 15 minutes in the later evening.

The frequency of MRT trains is a little further apart at weekends and public holidays with trains departing between every 7 to 15 minutes.
