To get from TBS to Tampin / Pulau Sebang by train you have a choice of taking a cheap KTM Komuter or a much more expensive ETS service from the nearby Bandar Tasik Selatan (BTS) Railway Station which is connected to Terminal Bersepadu Selatan by a footbridge.

As the KTM Komuter trains from Bandar Tasik Selatan are much more frequent and cheap, we would recommend you travel by these Malaysia Railways (Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad) trains.

KTM Komuter trains run on the Batu Caves - Tampin/Pulau Sebang Route (Laluan).

The duration of the train journey from TBS / BTS to Tampin/Pulau Sebang is approximately one hour and 45 to 50 minutes.

The "Cash Price" fare (tambang) for the Komuter services from TBS / Bandar Tasik Selatan to Tampin is 12.70 MYR.

Unlike ETS trains where you should book in advance, KTM Komuter train tickets are only sold on the day of departure from BTS train station.

When you pay for your tickets you will be given a token which acts as your ticket and lets you pass through the departure gates to the platform.

Once you arrive at Tampin you will need your token again to exit.
